this video shouldn't be marked as 'education'. have nothing to do with history. extremely inaccurate, disimfotmative, biased. easy prey for holocaust deniers, uneducated people who use YouTube for educational purposes… it's shamefull, and so wrong, that I suspect it's on purpose.

so fact 50 is already wrong as the USA was not an Allied power at the start and were dragged into the war since US citizens didn't want to go to another WW after the first one was so bad. I get it you americans are so great and saved everyone but lets try and not warp history much past that shall we? I mean you did a great job being the first into Rome right? Not like you forced another allied power to stop its troops at the outskirts of Rome just so you could be first in. Not at all! And really France wasn't invaded until 1944? like wtf man how can you screw up the first fact so bad i have to write a bloody essay before the fact is even done? Like how am I going to finish your video when i have family that cannot do factions in math but know more about the start of WW2 then you? Before posting a video maybe do the minimum research. Poor video unable to make it past first "fact" as it was in fact not a fact but misinformation.

A good additional fact here would be that the Axis actually controlled five territories in the Western Hemisphere during the war: The Vichy French colonies of Guadeloupe, Martinique, and French Guiana from 1940 to 1943, and the Japanese-held islands of Attu and Kiska from 1942 to 1943. Attu and Kiska were actually part of the United States, so they actually controlled American soil for slightly over a year.

Its not a disputed fact whether the nazis were socialist or not either. They used the branding and a couple of benign policies to attract workers away from communism and took inspiration from the rise of mussolini who rose in spite of socialism.

Russia was not part of the allies formally. They were just both fighting the Axis. Plus the US only joined the Allies in 1941 so your defenition of the allies depends on what year.

  19. Sooo many of these facts were inaccurate. For example, while Yugoslavia did sign the Tripartite Pact, it never fought on Germany's side. The pact was signed on 25th of March 1941 but two days later, after protests and a military coup, Yugoslav regent Prince Pavle resigned in favor of King Petar II (who was 17 at the time, hence the need for a regent) and the pact was effectively annulled. on 6th of April Yugoslavia was invaded by Germany, Italy, and countries that signed the pact and was subsequently divided among them.
