Welcome back everyone to Sporting Logically, today we are talking about some NBA All-Star game facts that you have never heard about…

Number 1 – Only 3 undrafted players have ever been named all-stars

Number 2 – Karl Malone is the only player to win the MVP and not have not been selected to an all-star team in the same season (1999)

Number 3 – Since the league went to a two round draft format in 1989, only 17 second round picks have been named all-stars

Number 4 – Since the 1990 All-Star break, only 7 people have both played in and been a head coach in the All-Star game.

Number 5 – Since 2000, the highest paid player in the league for that season has never failed to be selected to an all-star team

Number 6 – From 1995-2013, there were 7 number one overall picks that never did or still haven’t made an all-star team in their careers

    Actually his 15 pts per game for a SG were absurd for an all-star player, and it wasnt the minutes or lack of shot attempts, he simple wasnt that good, but had a MARKETING team around him and was from LA…

    Wasn't Juwan Howard the highest paid player in the early 2000's? I know he was an all star but you didn't mention him, I wasn't sure if there was something that happened that I didn't know.
