I agree about pulling and reinserting the jacks on a pedal board. I go one step further, I wipe the jack with contact cleaner then pull in/out of the pedal. A can of CRC contact cleaner about 5 bucks at Home Depot

I actually carry my guitar in a gig bag and then place it securely above the carry on bags on the overhead luggage compartment. Haven't had any damages and have traveled quite a few times with both acoustic and electric guiitars.

Lube and big ben’s nut sauce? I would rather lube my penis for sex and get it ready that way during masterbation

Great video! I use a hair elastic to keep my rolled up cables. Loop under a plug; around the bundle; loop end over the same plug. You can go round twice, or loop behind the plug before going round; to set the tension based on the amount of rolls bundled in the hand. Yes, I'm on a budget.

If you don't have a guitar slide then you can use you're whammy bar as a slide.
Another life hack if you have that stupid anime guitar pedal simply throw it in the trash.

In regards to air travel with guitars, do you loosen the strings off? Some people say you should always do this while others say it isn't necessary.

  30. Edward Thurston November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

Breaking off the ground pin on the amp cord is definitely not a big deal and is extremely unlikley to cause an electric shock

  31. Th3DarkKitsune November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

  36. Oliver Herrera November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

Dont wrap your cable like that, just fold it in half and then tie itself in a knot, its easier and faster

  37. Kamryn Quinn November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

Or… you could just wear a watch

  38. Jason Soldado November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

  39. Terry Relph-Knight November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

Pencil lead is actually graphite mixed with abrasive clay. The harder the pencil the more clay and less graphite. If you absolutely must use a pencil to lubricate your nut use a soft pencil. When you consider that pencil softness goes down as far as 9xxB, nine steps down from HB, you can see that the graphite content in most pencils you will have lying around is not going to be that high.

  40. Mensch 000 November 6, 2018 at 10:09 am

It burns in my soul when I see how you are destroying your cable by makeing a knot into it.
I am still in mental pain because of it 😀
