Clutterless MTB Cockpit with Wireless Shifting and Dropper! | Barspin Ready

In this video, we make a virtually clutterless mountain bike cockpit with wireless shifting, wireless dropper post control, and a front brake that runs through the steerer tube.

With all that clutter gone and only one brake hose running to the frame, we’ll see if it’s possible to pull a bar spin!

Huge shoutout to Sam Pilgrim for opening new doors https://youtu.be/QsVIHoCjRVA

    Seth check this out:
I had an idea that could work but it's not as simple as I'd originally thought.
Cable brake levers -> Gyro -> Hope V-Twin.
The Hope V-Twin converts cable to hydraulic for front and rear brakes in one unit.
If you mount it to your frame rather than stem then you only need to worry about spinning with cables, which people have been doing for years.
The tricky part here is that your frame doesn't have gyro tabs…

Hey Seth, you should try to build a hardtail mountain bike from scratch using only a few tools and various different bike and tool hacks from the past that people left in the comments, I thought this would be a challenge for you and it would be a good video idea for a rainy day or something. Please consider trying the challenge, it would mean a lot too me. Love your videos and keep up man.

  27. Deimos Phob September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

You should install a BMX barspin detangler, and then you'll have a bike that is truly able to barspin.

  29. Creative Mechanic September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

your channel is awesome, any suggestions on an entry level mountain bike that I could also use to commute to work? 10 mile ride, 8 on pavement, 2 off road.

When it snows make a video how to ride in the snow effectively.

  31. Nicoya September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

Hydraulic gyro or switching to a mechanical rear brake with a classic gyro would finish the job perfectly, you could just spin for days.

  32. Minerguy September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

Every bike should be like this.

  33. Tanner Casares September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

  38. Shabin Shan September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

Nice setup. Could you give the trixer hydrolic giro a try. Would be great to see a clip of that and the function.

  39. Victor Kirk September 25, 2018 at 9:10 am

Seth you should also consider adding a hydro-Gyro for the rear brake so that you would have unlimited bar spin capability, and debatibly the cleanest fully loaded cockpit possible. Great content🤘
