You people (meaning the commenters) really need to drop the whole Legends vs. Canon thing. Nothing you can do about it. Move along! Move along!

Alex, I know how much you love Star Wars and consume everything for these videos, and we're always excited to get anything new, but is there any Star Wars book that you just felt wasn't good or you got bored reading it?

Probably not a popular opinion, but I really loved Heir to the Jedi. All the characters felt so much like real people, teasing each other like my friends and I would.

This was the first Star Wars book I ever read, and I loved it!

I loved this book. I was sad to hear most hated it. Luke struggling to push a noodle with the Force, Luke discovering a purple lightsaber and taking it apart, Luke falling head over heals for a girl who's more of a badass than he is. All fun stuff. Some of the math stuff threw me off, but it wasn't too bad.

Do you think that the KOTOR games could be brought into the canon without clashing too much with what is already established? As far as I can tell the only major changes that would need to be altered are the dates.

These fact rundowns I used to like a lot. The last few though, seem really dry, I think they are suffering from your not actually doing the work (though you may have read these novels time and the growth of the channel don't allow for the re-read so for you the info in your head cannon is not too fresh) … and I am not saying you don't do a great job with these book review or fun fact shorties … really I am thinking these lists from Marvel/Star Wars are just that. A list. Videos you have done using the list format don't suit you, they don't showcase you or the style you have naturally developed, and with all honesty which you deserve from a long time supporter (although I admit I unsub from all SW channels around the time a new movie release as I HATE SPOILERS) the fun facts videos are very dry if pitted against most every other variety of video from your channel. My intent is hopefully coming across as a positive motivational constructive critique since the only fact I can add would be I know that you put a ton of effort into every video, seeing many time you have impressed me, so with my best intentions coming from a sincere supporter I know you can do better and strive for excellence, if you do the latter of those then results will show once you post the next creation to your channel.

Yo! Random 💭 Kira, we will be working MUCH more closely from now on. How close? Did Maul and Kira possibly leave Maul an heir?

Is the legends material really dead? I do not think so. Canon has introduced the phrase “legend of Luke Skywalker.” I am thinking that legends material could be regarded as part of that “legend.” Maybe these legends have been spread across the galaxy via the Holonet, in the form of holodramas.

Do I think they should revive legends material? Not really. Should is too strong of a word for it. I do think Disney could do a better job burying, but not burying it away, the legends material. There is a lot good stuff there, along with some bad stuff.

Did Disney have to kill the Star Wars EU? Yes, they did. The prequel trilogy is living proof why. The “big reveal” in the original trilogy was Vader’s character being Anakin Skywalker. This revelation truly shocked everyone.

The “big reveal” in the prequel trilogy was supposed to be Palpatine’s character being Darth Sidious. But, because of the EU books, comics, and novels, it wound up being the worst kept secret in the galaxy. The advanced knowledge made the Jedi seem like dupes in a lot of ways.
