How did you know to look in Callao Cave?

Dr. Eusebio Dizon of the National Museum of the Philippines’ Archaeology Division says that there were already archaeological finds dating to the 13th-16th century in Cagayan’s Callao Cave. University of the Philippines’ Dr. Armand Mijares then explains his basis for his hunch that there was more to the cave, which led to their team’s discovery of Homo luzonensis’ remains in Cagayan’s Callao Cave.
