That coffee per cup, plus the cost of the machine is outrageous…excellent coffee takes just a bit more time..and you aren't polluting the planet with all that waste…..lazy millennials … get a grip….

Keurig 3.0 probably won't brew a cup of coffee until you swipe your credit card

  10. Carl Davidson October 1, 2017 at 3:46 pm

You don't even need the entire lid. You only need the foil on the rim.

My old keurig that would brew anything died recently and I refuse to buy a new replacement because I have about 150 pods of different kinds that I like. Now with this hack, I think I can safely buy the keurig of my choice. Great fun video!!

Actually, it's a lot easier than that. I discovered that if I take an ordinary black ballpoint pen, and write the letter K in two places on opposite sides around the rim of my non-Keurig cup, with the K oriented outside to inside (i.e. the top of the K is on the circumference), it works on at least the two new Keurig machines I have tried it on. ALWAYS works for me. And the non-Keurig cups I use happen to have dark orange rims, not even white, so as long as the two black-ink K are visible, it works.

HAHAHAH omg this is fucking hilarious and awesome. I've been wondering how to get around this. I thought it was the cup design not the actual freaking seal. so funny

  25. Holly Allison October 1, 2017 at 3:46 pm

You are a hero in my book! My daughter came home for the holiday and wanted some Lemon Zinger Tea. I found that my Keurig wouldn't allow that pod to work. We tried another tea and got the same error message. Frustrated, I googled for ideas and found your video. My hubby bought mine last year for Christmas so I figured I would take the risk since the warranty is almost up. Followed your instructions and within about 10 minutes, I brewed my Lemon Zinger Tea! Thanks so much for posting this. It's obvious you have helped a ton of people. If you watched this video and fixed your Keurig, make sure you give him a thumbs up too!

  26. Ella October 1, 2017 at 3:46 pm

SCREW YOU, KEURIG! I'm SO ticked right now. I wasted SEVERAL of these K cup's before I realized what Keurig did to the machines. I won't be buying Keurig again, that's for sure. There are other single cup brewers out there. Thanks for the hack info, though, you Rebel you! Someone please Vader Force Choke the Keurig CEO.

Woot! Woot! That monstrosity has been sitting on my counter UNUSED for the last year, because there is very little variety with the VUE. Thank you Keurig Hack!

    Those bastards…..
You sir, are a good man.

Also, does this work for the k-cups that have a dip at the bottom?
I mean I could just dump it in my coffee k-cup but it would detract from the convenience.

  30. Carlos Perez October 1, 2017 at 3:46 pm

    you rebel scum

  42. Terri Deleon October 1, 2017 at 3:46 pm

I too enjoy my Keurig 2.0 which was a Christmas present to myself. I bought the reusable Purple cup from Amazon. It worked great….but 3 months later when I decided to try out a Keurig cup of Chai Tea, nothing came out of the unit into my cup. I tried again, then a 3rd time. Electronically, everything functioned fine. I took the housing out and something rattled!!! It seems that wonderful little purple recycle coffee filter broke off the rear needle which punctures the Kcup and allows water to flow through and brew. Now I know that the brewing process isn't Rocket Science, but never in my life would I have thought that my needle would break off!! I'm currently searching for a replacement housing for my 3 month old Keurig! Beware of how you place that reusable Kcup in the housing unit. ☕️😟
