I have this theory in Little Witch Academia:

I think that Akko Kagari is not from Japan… but from another country.
In the film, LWA: The Enchanted Parade, that part where Amanda teaches them to dance. After they practiced, they talked about Diana. Then Diana heard them backstabbing her. Then she came inside then talked to Akko. After they exchanged debates, she brings this topic where "I am a descendant of a proud and ancient bloodline of magic users! You, on the other hand, are a lowbrow witch, from some island country in the orient;" This is where it gets really weird. If you search for "island country in the orient" you'll see the country, PHILIPPINES. If you didnt know, Sucy Manbavaran is also from the Philippines. So, are they connected? Is Akko half-Filipino? Let me know at the comments… I'm very curious if this was a mistake or an easter egg 😭❤️

Anyone mentioned that Amanda looks a little bit like ryuko? I photoshopped Amanda by coloring her hair and dressing her up like ryuko and they just look like the exact same person 😀

Does anyone know what happened to the moon when Chariot shot at it and why she did it? I don't know if the anime explained it and I just missed it 😣

You forgot to mention that Yoh Yoshinari is a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In the first short Sucy finds a doll in the pile of junk that looks to be modelled after Twilight Sparkle. In the second short Lotte has a pony figure on her desk in the dorms that resembles Rarity. On top of that, Sucy's hair style looks a lot like Fluttershy's mane style.

Anyone else think that Little Witch Academia is just the most charming and fun show to watch. I honestly think I like it more than the Harry Potter series. Little Witches for the win. 🙂

  25. Derpinator September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

Fun fact, when the names of the players in the ghost hunting introduction scene appear, they are names of League of Legends pro players from the teams TSM and C9, featuring Bjergsen, Doublelift, Contractz etc.

  26. Abra Westerfield September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

I WILL SUPPORT THE LWA STAFF AS MUCH AS I CAN JUST TO GET A SECOND SEASON!

  27. Alcor The Dreambender September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

so does this mean that an alternate Universe version of Gravity Falls exists in Little Witch Academia Universe? AWESOME!!!😄

  28. Alexander Nørby September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

i really liked it but sometimes the whole idea of Akko being "stupid" and a very bad witch gets to be a bit too much, and Amana HAS to be my favorite character just love her in all the episodes and in the "short movies"

  29. Max Von Britannia September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

you forgot to mention the reference to shin Godzilla in episode 8 the quick to imitate sucy is doing the shin Godzilla pose while shooting lasers from her back and foot which are all references to what Godzilla did in the movie also the mushrooms in her foot I believe are a reference to how shin Godzilla is growing a face and weird humanoid in his tail

  33. IImagnumalucardII September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

  35. numaTruehome 100 September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

Wilt of all imaginary friends is scaring me in that photo

  36. Spooked 2 September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

The dedication to the setting is further evident in the amount of references to British culture displayed in the show.

  37. TecDax September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

The most bizarre reference was Vicky Pollard from Little Britain.

  38. princessthyemis September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

  44. De Rez Studios September 14, 2017 at 5:13 am

I'm surprised they didn't mention the two girls named "Hannah" and "Barbera" who always hang around out each other, which is clearly a reference to the American animation studio Hanna Barbera.
