Being a Girl Scout isn’t just about selling cookies (though that’s a delicious perk!).

The program is, in the simplest terms possible, aimed at turning young girls into smart, capable, badass adult women. The life skills taught in Girl Scouts are ingeniously awarded by cute badges, and even though they might be the only organization out there giving out awards for things like good manners, the skill sets taught in Girl Scouts are legit. And whether you were ever a scout yourself, you’ll want to take a look at this list just to see if you measure up.

We’ve pulled actual badge requirements from Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Ambassadors to put this list together. Read it, and see if your own skills could use a little brushing up.
