The Accountant (2016)

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

Worth my 4.00 US dollars. Entertainment with moral value. Glad I finally found time for this. Perfectly cast.

The music which starts at 18:12 is very reminiscent of the musical score used for the "Opera House" scenes in Battlestar Galactica.

Great movie. I love Dana! Whoever cast this young lady is a genius. Her character playing off of Affleck's is perfect. A fast paced ride.

This a good movie, however I am not sure I agree with the ulterior message. Children with autism stressed enough excel beyond belief and that is not good!

My question is, and not trying to be a smart ass, why does it cost $10 or more here on YT when it's $3+ on Amazon?

In some respects a rather unique movie.  An autistic accountant with extreme killing skills.  Nurtured by his father who loved him in a manner that developed those capacities.  And, a brother who watched his back.  Both of whom have a bizarre reunion near the end of the film.  Good acting an ok plot, set in the greater Chicago area.  Nuances are dry, entertainment value is B.
