Since Manhattan is currently out of print I think that'd be a great choice to bring back in as a Dice Tower Essentials game…

I love seeing Bruges get love. I wish more people would play it with me.

The best of Hans im Gluck but Die Macher box and images are from Valley Games edition. Badly. Manhattan, Carcassonne?! Really? Egizia, First Class, Stone Age, Samurai… are much better.

This list gave me a lot of good new games to consider, if only they were all available!

Thurn & Taxis (similar Ticket to Ride, but fun) and Tigris & Euphrates would have definitely be quite high on my list. But I also like the games Tom mentioned, as far as I know them.

I got to play Marco Polo a couple of months ago. Fantastic game.

Great List. Perfect No 1! It is my very favorite Hans im Glück game as well.

Speaking of Marco Polo… is a new edition/printing in the works? When?

  15. Johannes Blank March 15, 2019 at 3:22 pm

Wow, didn't notice HiG made so many fantastic games.

You could probably take only these 10 games and have a gaming collection that would serve you well for years to come.
