Supermodel Elaine Irwin, who was the face of Almay — appearing in ads and in the makeup section in your local drugstore or Target — for seven gorgeous years, has rejoined the brand as the new face for the Almay Age Essentials Collection.
At a breakfast with Irwin, we asked the model how this campaign differed from her work with Almay in the past. “This is the first campaign where I’ve really learned about the product and been involved in the process. For me, to hear the thought process behind creating the product was so interesting. When I heard about the diffusers, I was like, ‘You can do that? I want them!’”
Irwin also told us that one of the things she loves about the Almay brand is that “they list all their ingredients, because I want to know, I want the science!”
The new line is all multitasking antiaging products, and like everything from Almay, it’s dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested, as well as hypoallergenic and fragrance-free.
The lip treatment is a standout, with a chubby-style design that allows the treatment to go beyond the lips and fight fine lines.
