As a Democrat, I view Trump’s recent blather as timely. If his push manages to bring down ACA, depriving 30 million Americans of health care, and remove preexisting condition protection for 50 million, it’ll bring down the Republican Party. In 2020 there will be a Democratic House, Senate, and best of all, President. Trump has no well reasoned and supported replacement, just more dim witted bluster.

As someone with a chronic illness, I fear ever losing my job. I have really good health insurance. I would have to become penniless and get Medicaid. NYS medicaid pays for everything! Even Tylenol.

Time has this headline like its this a surprise. Trump said what he intended to do, over and over, during his Presidential campaign. what Obama promised and what happened were to very different things. The "Affordable" Care Act was anything but affordable. the only people who liked it was the people who wrote it… the insurance companies and Obama rubber-stamped it.

I've never seen a guberment program yet that didn't end up being a disaster for the taxpayer.

he really is trying to outwork and out due his predecessors. its working intrestingly enough, but the question if it helps our divided union and its citizens atm, is a whole nother.

Make health insurance like car insurance. Should not be tied to employment. That alone will make it cheaper.

  7. Michael Basham March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

It's funny how people complain about healthcare. People just can't manage their money well, that's the problem. For others their business isn't profitable to even think about employing people full time. Everyone to their own.

"Strike Down" fake news is fake, over dramatic.
Headline: Gets rid a Communist Policy.

When Congress and I have the same health plan that's the day to celebrate!

  10. Houston Randolph March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

The nothing in the constitution about healthcare. Obama care deductible is awful.

The monetary system idea came out of thin air. And it costs nothing. If someone needs care, give it. Companies and people operating for a return in numbers they can see on a screen, or in a book. Manufacture, and serve, for the benefit of all others . If individuals can do a service, whatever it may be. A Guide-list, showing the equivalent in food, meds., clothes, shelter, etc. for the various services performed; used daily; weekly for societies needs. This of course cuts out "profit" and competition. And the main problem* for the 3 main "isms" – Capitalism; Communism; Socialism. *A few, that desire to lie, deceive, even murder in order to control the system; dominating the majority. This is the common *problem of the 3 main "isms". John 8:44 If there isn't profit, and domination in the program you notice, some will talk it down because more than not, it excludes them; or threatens what they have going on now – James 5:1 the corrupt "rich" of the present time; 2Cor.11:13-15 a few acting as light-bearers, with mostly darkness out of their mouths. Matthew 7:12 if you "leaders" in this society; some of you by usurpation could not *pay for insurance, wouldn't you want someone to bear your burden by providing you with insurance ???? You sure as heck would !!! SO please do unto others as you would want them to do unto you. Without charge, without strings attached, without sanctions. God bless you.

I do not understand this guy. He gets his AG to put his spin on the Mueller report that everyone knows they won't release. The media laps up Barr's spin on the report, so Trump has a win. What does he do with his win? Gives it right back to the Democrats by going after health care. Art of Dufus, health care and weed is how the Democrats will back the Senate and WH next cycle and he just helps them out.

My health insurance premiums went up 50% and my provider introduced a new deductible because of the ACA. To save money, I downgraded from a very comprehensive HMO to a high deductible plan. For me, the ACA was a trainwreck. For my friends and family who don't work fulltime jobs, it was a godsend.

  22. Truth Hurts March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

The reason that Canada has Universal healthcare is that Canada is full of intelligent, hard-working WHITE PEOPLE who generate lots of REVENUE, so they can afford it. The U.S. is full of stupid, lazy BROWN PEOPLE who generate nothing but CRIME AND POVERTY, so we can't afford it. Pay for your own healthcare you free-loading scum bags.ijj

  23. Doodle Bob March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

Trump is such a fucking whiney bitch and there are too many ignorant assholes in America who think he's a good leader. As far as I can tell all he's good at is reversing anything that Obama did whether it was good or bad for America and handing out corporate welfare for millionaires and billionaires. GOOGLE the POWELL MEMORANDUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Mr. Eggwell March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

Cucks will call TIME fake news, even though it was literally a recording and no interviews, reporting, or editing.

  32. Angela Sanchez March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

    We are slaves to:
    The bank (mortgage)
    The other bank (car payment)
    Insurance company (homeowners)
    Insurance company (auto)
    Insurance company (health)

    Thats about $24,000 per year
    Give or take
    Thats the low end

    Lets not forget this ok

Oh and do you want to add the slavery of payroll taxes too?
    Sales tax
    Excise tax
    Property tax
    Estate tax
    So many taxes

Am i the only one who thinks this is ridiculous?

  33. Destined4Greatness March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

There are some really amazing aspects to the Affordable Care Act and there's some really horrible aspects to the Affordable Care Act. I hope that there could be some solution to the problem but there doesn't seem to be one. 😕😔😕😔

  34. Jay S March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

Funny how he doesnt mention trump care or any plan for that matter.

  35. Angela Sanchez March 30, 2019 at 9:18 am

As a small business owner all I know is…
    What is Obamacare?
There is no affordable health insurance option as far as I see
