These Research Scientists In Japan Are Creating Invisible Mice.
Scientists first experimented using various mice organs. They used a fluid that makes brains transparent for imaging. Here you see mice kidneys, livers, and pancreata in various states of transparency as the color is removed from them.
To achieve transparency for a full mouse body, researchers removed the blood from a dead mouse with saline and repeated the same technique used on the individual organs.
While it might look freaky, researchers are adamant that these clear mice bodies could help with research into preventing and treating diseases that affect humans.
