This is What Happens When Great Artists Decide To Make A Flower Garden

As you approach the suspended garden, something incredible happens…

As you move towards them, the flowers, which were once hardly above the ground, raise up toward the ceiling…

The flowers, which were once hardly off the ground, raise up toward the ceiling…

Creating a dome for you to stand in.

As one might assume, this is accomplished by way of aerial sensors.

As you move, the hemispherical bubble moves with you…

If two people's paths cross, their two domes conjoin.

The creators at teamLab explain, "A hemispherical space is constantly being created with the viewer at its center and the viewer is free to move around wherever they want. If many viewers get close to one another, the dome spaces link up to form one single space."

And all the while, you remain surrounded by a blanket of flowers.

Talk about a breathtaking experience.

The interactive exhibit is currently on display at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo until May 10, 2015. For more information on it, visit here.
