Today’s the Day You Start Wearing Blue Eyeliner On Your Lower Lash Line

I love adding blue to my eye-makeup looks because the combo somehow seems to go with everything. OK, that AND I just love blue.

This is one of my favorite colorful looks to do, and here’s how to do it!

Add a little highlight on the lid and under the brow. You could also skip the lid highlight and just add your crease color onto the lid for a smokier effect.

I start off with a little white eyeshadow on my lid and under my brow for a highlight using my MAC 239 brush and Liberatus from the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Contour Palette.

Warm eyeshadow really complements this look. You'll probably get a lot of compliments. Please forgive my dad jokes.

Now I’m going in with my fluffy blending brush (I’m using MAC 217) and adding a warm eyeshadow in my crease/above my crease a bit. I’m using Ludwin from the same Kat Von D palette. Sometimes I’ll just use a warm eyeshadow and just go all the way from the lid to just above my crease for a bit more color.

This liner really stays put!

I’ve already gone and added a quick winged liner to my upper lash line using my Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner. I’ve also put on Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara and added Smokey Muse Lashes by House of Lashes

Next, I added some waterproof blue eyeliner on my waterline and into my lash line. I’m using MAC Pro Longwear Eyeliner in Mountain Air.

Forever blending. It's always worth it.

Here I’m just using my dome-shaped brush and blending out the eyeliner with some blue shadow. I’m using MAC Eyeshadow in Freshwater and a brush I got from my makeup school. Sometimes I’ll use MAC’s  Steamy eyeshadow for a more dimensional look.

Is that you, spring?

By the way, the lip color I'm wearing is KoKo K by Kylie Cosmetics. And I'm NC15 in MAC foundation if you're wondering about skin tone.

I think it’s a nice little pop of color, and it makes me feel a lot brighter and happier. You can always add less liner and eyeshadow to make the look more subtle; I just like the intensity factor, personally.
