The parents can press charges on the girl who hit their daughter. It could be on her record for it. Since the daughter (Andrea) didn't hit back.

I also wanted to add that when I went to that school in 7th and 8thgrade I was attacked and bullied this school is full of bullying and bullies when I was attacked the one girl blamed it on having a bad day and the second time the girl attacked me instead of the girl she wanted to thinking it was me

Hi I just would like to put a few words out there this girl and I used to be friends she's known as "turtle" I'm a few grades higher so I stopped talking to her when we moved but I know Andrea and not saying anyone deserves this type of treatment she did do things to the other girl including threats sent through social media . I just wanted to put that out there that bullying should not be allowed or happening to anyone but when you antagonize another child you don't know how there going to react.

Hate to break it to these reporters but this was not a video of a "fight". It was an ASSAULT….. it wasn't a fight!

This is not bullying, it is assault and battery. What took place is a crime and should be prosecuted as such. I saw the real video on Facebook and what you don't hear are the voices of the other girls egging on the attacker. This is speech leading to violence and is also a crime and should also be prosecuted.

I disagree with not showing the attacker. You lose all your rights to privacy when you allow yourself to be videoed, in a school attacking a fellow student.

I hope the school is identifying ALL the criminals here and getting their parents and the authorities involved.

Proud of this girl for handling a horrible situation in the best possible way. I hope she works hard and achieves her dream because we need more teachers like her!

My name is Katie Bradford. I am working hard to stop bullying in the USA and change the policy that affects the scholarships for bullied students. The "Stop Bullying" Groups are set up to share ideas, problem solving, and ways to cope. Please feel free to join our GROUP! I have one for Tennessee, Indiana, Maryland, and am working on others. If you would like to contact me to get you going on a group for your state, please contact me. We list apps that schools can implement to help students at school. One is sitwithus, where you can ask for a buddy at lunch. Another is stopit and speakout. So proud of you, Andrea!!! The moment when your hands were on the floor and not fighting her back. That was it for me. GOOD JOB!!!

Just horrible what happened to her. But this is what is happening in schools today. Kids/ teens continually need our help (including the bullies) who at times are dealing with unimaginable experiences.
