I’m always so proud of you!

I remember our conversations before you told your mom. You were so scared to tell her because you didn’t know how she would react (especially because she was a Christian) and look at you now? Using your platform to empower others to share and walk in their truth.

Trust me, parents generally already know through discernment and they are most likely waiting for you to share with them. Either way, when you make the decision to share your truth, be sure that you are ready to walk in it everyday 100% and be willing to advocate for fair and equal treatment.

You and Kim helped me in more ways than you know. Your truth help me to be more understanding, compassionate, respectful, non judgmental, and simply loving to people who were not me. For that I am thankful and for that I saw a need to challenge the status quo and begin to learn more about tolerance and equity in education.

Good job, but no more profanity specifically in front of mama Amy. ♥️
