2 ★ LAZY HEATLESS CURLS | Overnight Waves HAIRSTYLES | HACKS

Hair tutorial: how to create 2 lazy easy heatless curls / waves overnight with a bun! Quick no-heat curl hairstyles

Want to see how I color my hair? Here’s that video ► http://youtu.be/386c1tgcefU

In this video, I’m going to show you, how to curl your hair overnight without heat to create 2 voluminous, heatless curls / waves hairstyles. These are now my favorite no-heat curl methods!

Today’s hair tutorial is best done on long and medium length hair..

The first heatless wavy hair look a lot like Victoria’s Secret, big messy loose waves. It’s quick and easy to do before bed, and even faster to style the curls in the morning for school or work. I’m using a jumbo size donut, but you can make something similar at home using a rolled up socks. Make sure though that your donut is VERY thick. I took a measuring tape and measured the size of the cylinder, and when I wrapped the tape around it, it measured at 5 1/2 inches thick. To duplicate my curls, make sure your donut is the same size. If you use a small donut, your curls will come out tight. Which can also be a cute look. 🙂 It really depends on what size curl you’re trying to create with this technique.

The second heatless curls method will take you about 5 minutes to put in and is curlier than the first, no heat curls. I’m going to show you, how to do the lazy pin-curl bun method to curl your hair without heat. I thought these heatless curls turned out a lot like the classic voluminous Kim Kardashian curls. They’re big, soft and very glam and sexy.

Try out these simple everyday curls for school, work, prom, homecoming, or weddings.

I have longer (waist length), thicker, straight cut and not layered hair, so it did not work for me.

Your hair looks beautiful–and so do you. The last up-do looks almost good enough to go out! Reminds me of the 30's and 40's. Thank you for sharing these great ideas.
UPDATE: I just tried the second version. I have TONS of hair, which makes it very heavy. It was very difficult to insert the bobby-pins (I always had trouble with them); they wouldn't stay. And since I have so much hair, there were too many curls. The result was that after 15 minutes my head was pounding and I just removed the whole thing! I guess you have to be used to wearing ponytails. I can't due to the weight of hair.

Great look but I can't find a method that beats mine yet. Get some foam curly bendy curlers, put slightly damp hair in the high ponytail, break hair into about 8 sections (I have ultra thick below waist length hair) more or less, wind hair onto the curlers and bend them up, cover with hair net or anything silky, sleep, wake up to curls that will last two days!! Curls will start off quite tight but will drop to the Bollywood wave. Hope someone like this if they have crazily thick long hair.

So I got these awesome curls, but about 20 minutes later, they're gone! I put some volumizing mousse and texturizer in and used Big Sexy to spray the curls afterwards…..I have very long hair that is fine but usually holds a curling iron curl pretty well….any suggestions to get the heatless curls to stick?

Hi Tina, I'm Gina, a new fan of your videos, from the Philippines. I'm 56yrs old and had worn my hair short since turning 40. I always thought that was the sensible thing to do for maturing women with a busy lifestyle. Last year, I started to grow my hair upon the frequent request of my husband. It's been more than a year now. My hair is 3-4 inches from my shoulders and I'm loving it. People have consistently commented that I look younger! That was the whole point of having short hair, to look younger. Anyway, having long hair at my age has its challenges like falling hair. I don't think we have Grow Gorgeous in the Phil. How can I get this product? I need it, like, yesterday.

  29. Andrea Andrea September 21, 2017 at 5:07 pm

This doesn't work for women with textured hair. My hair already has curls in it but not nice ones. Wish I could figure out how to do my hair without heat.

I generally use leave in conditioner to skip that oil step in the morning. But I have very coarse thick hair. Just a thought for some others out there.
