Great tips! One suggestion is to slow down a bit and demonstrate how you got into the setting- show it on the screen as you navigate. Thanks!

It's not necessary to be in playback mode to useย that format short cut. Simply hold the delete button for some seconds and then press the rear dial.

menus and power switches are the things i hate most in digital cameras. when i lift any of my manual film cameras and trip the shutter i get a picture. no waiting for power focus etc. its easy enough to preset an appropriate exposure and with negatives enough latitude to cover a multitude of sins

Thanks Neil. I forgot about the Format quick access. Very useful!

A little observation is that while I do appreciate the card format shortcut – and in a way asked for it – it's way faster to navigate through the menu.

    Menu > up > right > right > right.

    Hi Fuji Guy(s),

I appreciate (and like) your job here. One advice: I believe my English is decent, but it was a bit too fast for me when you explained about going through settings. Maybe, just slow it down a bit, not everybody is a native speaker (or "listener" ๐Ÿ™‚ ).

I find the 'wrap around' on the focus point selection very frustrating if you are using the focus point near the edge of the of the focus area. If you press the joystick too hard, the focus point is suddenly on the other side of the frame! Also to use the shortcut to format the memory card(s) you do not have to be in playback mode. Just press the trash button for a couple of seconds and the press the rear command dial inwards, as you point out.
