I need to do this on my kitchen splash back (after I get the grout white again!)

mas isso não é uma limpeza, a vela só está escondendo a sujeira, é como se a vela estivesse pintado o rejunte dos azulejos. Não limpa, esconde a sujeira

i use to own a tile installation business. this is a crap idea! do not listen to this idiot! pay the money and buy a commercial grout sealer. then clean your grout once a week. vinegar and water work very well. plus it's cheap.

Actually I did NOT find this useful and THIS is quite frankly the DUMBEST idea i ever heard. So when it gets dirty does it just come right out? So now you are going to have a waxy build up in the grout which is going to attract the dirt and make it stick to the wax! Do you know how hard it is to get out candle wax? How long does it take to do 500 hundred square feet and how many candles. Man I know you want to get views and build a channel but this is shitty advice bro. Here's a free gem, Go to home depot and get a bottle of 511 impregnator by miracle and this will also seal the TILE to make cleaning much simpler

This candle wax approach is a solution to a problem that shouldn't exist if the tile in question was installed correctly.  Bathroom grout should be sealed after it cures, thus it won't stain or get dirty at all and can be cleaned just like the interior of the shower or floors.  And like +Eileen Mitsui  mentioned, unless the grout is totally clean to begin with, running candle wax over it is just asking for trouble.

Or you can do the whole wall with car wax and this repels all the water etc!

Brilliant idea! I've not long had a new bathroom suite installed and been wondering how to keep the grout cleaner for longer. Thank you, you are a saviour 🙂

hey bro keep doing your thing, this method was helpful to me so keep it up!

  14. Eileen Mitsui September 23, 2017 at 11:52 am

You mean GROUT. "The line in between" being kept "clean" is not correct. It may prevent mold or mildew, but that is only if 1) wax if used uniformly edge to edge and corner to corner and 2) if there in NO mold/mildew that has begun yet is still small enough to be missed by the naked eye. AND this is all assuming the grout is stark white…

    Great tip

That's actually really cleaver! Also using a bar of soap on the mirror keeps it from being fogged up from steam and hot showers. Just smear some over the mirror and gently while till clear with a rag and it should last for a few weeks as well.
