The irony here is that users of SXOS users are not banned (thanks to the emulated NAND) while homebrewers are. Oh, and while a very old version of SXOS did contain brick code that is no longer the case. Unfortunately, we need groups like this, because the game of cat and mouse is expensive, although lately a bounty system for open source developers has been invalidating that need.

4:24… "…what I discovered 25 years ago." Huh? You discovered something 25 years ago on a console that's been out for 2 1/2 and a game that's only existed since 2013? What?

This is why you don’t hack a console until it been confirmed dead by the developers (Nintendo Wii, DS, Xbox 360 etc.)

I knew of this bug way before the Switch was a thing. This shit's so old (not the video or the info, a criticism of Nintendo's ignorance) that us android users were using that info to hack shields. I want to say their last proper numbered tegra that was 32-bit had this problem too. Though, Android's are made to be hacked and customised, so nVidia probably didn't think anything of it. As soon as I heard nintendo say they were using the x1 and it was unmodified, I was like, "Yup, that's going to be hacked easily."

Nintendo couldn't secure their own hardware so instead of taking Team Xecuter to court, they take some random guy who is simply just installing the SX firmware on people's switches who want it installed. How ass backwards can Nintendo get? "Over 100 Switches", give me a fucking break, that's nothing and they know TX is responsible for thousands of piracy enabled switches.

  15. RayMinishi July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

I bet money that if someone else was using the methods to sell hacked Switches and Mini NES. Team Xecutor could be pissed

  16. Mark Guyton July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

Even though I'm not a supporter of hacks, I'm surprised there is a "code of ethics" within the community to the point where hackers have problems with hackers…

    Will projared be there?

  18. fireaza July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

The sheer irony of hackers building anti-hacking features into software that can only be installed on hacked consoles.

Just like the war between hackers/homebrew vs Sony during the PSP/Vita days. Sony knew when to give up, though.

  21. Sun Tzu July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

Thanks for having shit security, Nintendo 😀 <3 <3

That Kate person is actual dick they revealed shit they themselves didn't find it was whole group effort and she sold out

  27. Devon G July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

Nintendo should definitely fuck all the way off when it comes to the community doing things that they want to do with hardware they purchased. And their generous use of multi-million dollar lawsuits against middle class individuals for ultimately negligible losses is absolutely deplorable.

  28. Numberone July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

FUCK SX OS, athmosphere all the way

  29. Hypocritical Nonsense July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

  30. Hide July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

  35. Gabriel Mezadri July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

the only nintendo games i pirate are on my old ds and wii consoles, because they're not even being sold anymore lol. in my opinion, hacking a console currently being sold like the switch is really douchy and not cool :/

  36. Camron Graziano July 13, 2019 at 11:19 pm

Did you know early on Raichu was supposed to have an evolution but it was eventually cut. So that old man wasn't 100% wrong.
