5:35 River Song isn’t a Time Lord, she just has the ability to regenerate. I can meow; doesn’t make me a cat.

  2. TripleJumpYTP September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

Half of these are plot holes

  3. TripleJumpYTP September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

3:56 at the corner of the screen it says alien and the dalek says no that is not true

  4. Evelyn Cooper September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

Jenny didn't regenerate!!! It was her close exposure to The Source that healed her!!!

  5. John Smith September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

Jenny didn't regenerated, it was the gas. And the genetic pod simply took the Doctor's DNA and constructed something out of it.
River is not a Time lord. She is half human and only had a small amount of regeneration energy (3 or 4 regenerations)
She also didn't become a Time Lord from Vortex exposure- she was conceived on the TARDIS with is much different.

Maybe the consequence of changing a fixed point is based off of the magnitude of the change, for example time gets mashed together into one era when River Song doesn’t kill the doctor (a time traveler that’s been moving through time for hundreds of years). Then you have the Rose’s father (i can’t be arsed to remember his name) a man whose life is very linear and easy to fix if a fixed point got changed. Tldr- Big change = big consequence, small change = send in the reapers

Time Lord is a Caste of Gallifreyans. However, it has become really muddled in New Who. They use Time Lord as a species often but I think that's because there are physical/genetic modifications needed to be done in order to become a Time Lord. That lends itself to the confusion and also makes it easier to just use Time Lord as an umbrella term rather than explaining everything. Ace was supposed to be trained at the academy to become a Time Lord so it is possible for a non-Gallifreyan to become one. River also muddled the entire thing but I wouldn't honestly call her a Time Lord. She is more like a counterfeit Time Lord because she was physically modified the same way someone would be to earn the title but she was never properly given the title. Jenny was healed by the source. She is a Gallifreyan, not a Time Lord. I tend to simply the explanation as Gallifreyan is a species. Time Lord is a rank.

Daleks were the Original Villans. The Cavemen were not villans let's be honest.

  9. Raging Panda September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

River song isn't a time lord

I knew 10. Don't know what we're meant to know in 9, if it's that TARDIS is spelt all caps then yes I knew that. 8 I knew. 7 I didn't know. 6 is another one that I don't know what I'm supposed to know, it isn't a fact, just pointing out a continuity error. I knew 4, I knew 3, 2 is another one i don't know what i'm supposed to know, I know how old he is, he is 2000, the time he spent in the confession dial didn't age him as he died and was then recreated at an earlier age, he didn't age 4 billion years. I knew 1.

This top 10 list isn't the best.

  11. OverWims September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

What is the fact for number 6? You just said that the Reapers should show up more…where is the fact?

I feel like the whole purpose of this video is to get people to argue with it rather than making justifiable points. And the TARDIS is referred to as Tardis by name like a human is a human but referred to by a name. Duh, that's why the two spellings are used. It's not like the TARDIS's name would be Joanne, it's Tardis.

Lol yeah the Gallifreyan/Time Lord/"what exactly DOES make a Time Lord??" thing is definitely one of the wibbliest-wobbliest things about DW lore… I suppose that's why the Doctor usually introduces himself as "A Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey," and sometimes the terminology "Gallifreyan Time Lord" is used. Never just "a Gallifreyan."

But Ace (a human companion of Six) was originally planned to become a Time Lord before the series went off-air, so perhaps that storyline, had it been completed, was supposed to shed some light on the whole thing? (tho I believe that has happened in the Big Finish audio stories…so maybe it's addressed there?)

And it's just one of the most basic DW facts that, while the Doctor does seem awfully impressive to humans and even many aliens, he's really not that big of a deal on Gallifrey and among other Time Lords. Well he is, but only because he's a trouble maker who breaks all the social norms and most of the rules.

And the age thing… well… I don't think even the Doctor himself knows anymore. That's the point, isn't it? 😉

The Daleks are not robots, but squid-like beings enclosed in a metal salt-shaker.

  16. binyamin blatt September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

If time Lords are made by exposure to the time vortex guess who should be a timelord Clara!!!!

  17. Raymond Gerlach September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

Doctor Who, probably the longest running gag.😁

  18. Andrew Thompson September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

This is a load of shit.

  19. Abdul Alsabbagh September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

According to Missy, the doctor used to call himself "doctor who"

Apparently when it comes to history U missed the latest season (and others over the years). River has the abilities of a Time Lord but is NOT a Time Lord. Because Who does not have canon U are taking things out of the continuity. Next If U watch the show, the age is able to be find out simply. Lastly , when are U going to give me the 10 things I always get wrong because I have seen the things U got wrong.

  22. Pia Trautmann September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

Well timetravelling and being from another Planet still is SciFi…

  23. Yeti September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

I was expecting at least one of these to be wrong, but at number 10 and we already have an incorrect 'wrong' fact
It was supposed to be educational, yes, but it was always pitched as a sci fi

  24. Lumibear September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

In the first clip the reason why there’s air on the moon is cuz there’s an invisible shield around the hospital that traps in the air that transported up with it, it’s a big plot point cuz it runs out real quick.

  25. Barth Slung September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

I love how it said "Dr. Who" under Alien footage, and vice versa lol

  26. SGlitz September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

  27. Ron Scott September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

  28. Jack Aylward-Williams September 20, 2019 at 1:57 pm

I’m writing this before starting the video and I have no doubt that there will be an entry about calling the main character “Doctor Who”
