Wow! Marvel missed another chance to completely rewrite the comics so as to cater to the bullshit known as "political correctness."

    Thumbs up for marvel.

  3. Micah Bou October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

The Netflix version is honestly doesn't do him justice.

  4. Tin Can Media October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Listen to us mix it up with comic book writer and artist of such great books as Spider-Man Reign, Iron Fist: The Living Weapon and Renato Jones: The One Percent- Kaare Andrews on Kettle Of Fish. Great conversation about his work, creative process and how our current political climate influences comic book creators.

    Good video

  6. Schu Fighters October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Fact: His name is Daniel Rand, and he is the immortal Iron Fist, sworn enemy of The Hand and protector of K'un Lun.

  7. Bobby Weeks October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

To be honest if they had just done daredevil season 1 for iron fist and changed the villain and add some bits about kun lun and just change daredevil season 1 and it's good

  8. Sam Dawkins October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

SJW's. they hate you and yr family

  9. Denzel Torres October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

  10. Ignite October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

So the defenders has a black guy, a blind guy, and a woman, but if they have a straight white male then everything goes to sht

  11. steve i2000 October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

asian, white doesnt matter. the show sucks.

  12. The Stranger October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Should of been an Asian actor or just retire the character all together too controversial

  13. Jack Fucking Mason October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Iron Fist ALWAYS was a gay asian woman!!

  14. DragolianX October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Am I the only one who liked the show? Everywhere I go I see people complain about it.

  15. Vêdom Odêv October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

I don't mind a white iron fist. Just so as long as they keep his awesome quotes coming lol

  16. Samuel Keller October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

I didn't like the casting not because the petty race arguments, but Jones played off more of a whiney man-child than a competent warrior. I get they were going for someone with naivete, but the end result was someone with a temper problem.

  17. Zak Rodgers October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

"Caucasian casting was criticised…" shows how fucking pathetic people are.

  18. Ace How to October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

    Awesome tv show love it

  19. Perdomot October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

So Chloe Bennett is a SJW? So sad to see such blatant racism being portrayed as diversity. If they thought an Asian character would have been better, they could have gotten Shang Chi which was a contemporary of Iron Fist. Lots of drama in his background which would have been perfect for this series. Maybe they will have him in a future episode.

  20. Jonathan Stewart October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Anyone who wants someone of Asian decent is a dumbass. The idea of iron fist was that he was an outsider who didn't belong in k'un lun. And he wasn't born in k'un lun. He was born in New York.

in all the videos I've seen talking about this series and this particular Marvel character (who happens to be one of my most favorite), why is it never…and I mean never mentioned that is love interest/girlfriend/fiancé is a black woman…Mercedes (Misty) Knight? has America or the world seen too much of that?! Luke Cage (black man) is married to Jessica Jones (white woman), and they have a daughter together–the producers of Jessica Jones showed that (not them being married…yet). so, why not show that in this series? then again, the actress they have playing Misty Knight in Luke Cage is older than Finn Jones, and maybe that's why they're seemingly hinting at a romantic relationship…or sexual tension between Colleen Wing (Misty Knight's best-friend/business partner in Daughters of the Dragon detective agency, who she saved from being raped) and Danny Rand. side bar, Colleen Wing is a master swordsman and samurai with an ancient blade that she uses. is that even in the show? finally can someone please explain to me this controversy of a white man playing a white comic book character? are they of the mindset that since Marvel took a white character like Nick Fury and made him black (Samuel L. Jackson), that they should've did the same casting an Asian actor to play Iron Fist? if that's the case, the series should incorporate the Marvel character Shang-Chi who was his (Iron Fist) unspoken rival. both are evenly matched in fighting style and skills, and he's Asian. maybe Marvel and the producers could give that character the black girlfriend…that's an interracial relationship we never see on television…just saying.

  26. qwertyman459 October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

he cant fight for shit, thats not ironfist.try again this time with feeling.

  27. methodbigboi October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

I know that he is suppose to be white. But the guy who plays Danny rand freakin sucks at martial arts. I just wanted someone who can really do some damage and make me believe.

  28. Samuel MacPherson October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Any chance of Marvel doing something with "Master of Kung-fu"? One of my favorite comic books when I was a kid and more of Marvels take on the TV show Kung Fu. Thoughts?

  29. KingMustang3XVII October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

Danny rand is white both in the comic and the show, yes . Does it have to be ?. No. Look at the Kingpin play by Michael clarke duncan or Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm just to name a few . BTW show sucks, lost interested moment the intro rolls in.

  30. FRISHR October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

My name is Danny Rand and I am the Iron Fist, but I never use the Iron Fist that often when its useful.

  31. Lacy Coleman October 9, 2017 at 12:20 am

in my opinion, the Netflix version is dry and boring. I'm no comic person, but I've see too many shows and movies to know this is shit compared to luke cage and daredevil
